On Sept. 4, 2019, 868 residents filled a 1,250 foot table in the middle of University Avenue to dream about the future of public spaces and amenities in the Grand Forks community. The Longest Table welcomed 868 residents to sit down at a 1,250 foot table for a free dinner in a welcoming environment with people they may not have know, to foster stronger connections, exchange stories, and share ideas about their community.
